Promote “Thrive” for Our Black CSD Students & Families:
Foster Positive Mental Health:
Restructure CHS Annual Scholarships:
- We will implement the 3 E's (Education, Engagement, and Empowerment) to foster a thriving school environment and climate for Black CSD students and families.
Foster Positive Mental Health:
- We will prioritize mental health for our all students and families through:
- Education and awareness surrounding mental health
- Mental health programming, resource navigation, and social media
- Anti-stigma messaging
- Advocacy for equitable access for Black students to mental health resources available within CSD and the community
Restructure CHS Annual Scholarships:
- Our organizational fundraising/ sponsorship goal for the 24/25 year is $10,000. By hitting this goal, we can:
- Increase the annual CHS Graduate Scholarship amounts
- Broadened the amount of scholarships award
- Develop award recipient criteria to include any post-secondary endeavor (trade/ vocational school, college, military arms, etc.)
